What is the Ukrainian World Congress?
Established in 1967, the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) is the global voice for the Ukrainian people worldwide. As an international non-governmental organization, we represent the interests of over 20 million Ukrainians in the diaspora, unite Ukrainian communities and organizations in 60+ countries, and work to support a democratic, prosperous, European Ukraine.
The Ukrainian World Congress is recognized by the United Nations Economic and Social Council as a non-governmental organization with special consultative status and has a participatory status as an international non-governmental organization with the Council of Europe. As such, donors will not receive a tax receipt for their donations as Ukrainian World Congress is not a registered charity.

Who are the defenders of Ukraine?
So many brave young men and women are volunteering to defend their country from Russian invaders. They are joining territorial defence units and regional tactical medical battalions and are fighting with little to no training or resources. This initiative will help the volunteers from territorial defence units across Ukraine with much needed medical supplies, protective equipment, fuel, and communications devices, etc., to help them stay alive in their fight for freedom and democracy.
Who are the Ukrainian World Congress’ Partners?
The Ukrainian World Congress and our procurement and logistics team on the ground in Europe has partnered with several trusted and accredited non-governmental organizations and government entities. Their anonymity and security are something that we must respect at this time. Our three trusted partner organizations have asked that we do not disclose the names of their organizations. This is vital for the safety of our teams and the success of our mission.
